Little Owls Learning Center

Little Owls Learning Center is a childcare center located in Leechburg, Pennsylvania.

When then-Assistant Director Lisa Richards learned that the former owners of the childcare center she had been employed by for years were planning to retire, her next step wasn’t a question.

She needed to buy the center, continuing its mission of serving Alle-Kiski Valley families.
She had the childcare/management experience, approval from the previous owner, and a dream. What she needed now, of course, was a plan and the tools to see it through.

Over the weeks that followed important decisions were made in a series of relaxed communications. We opted to form a new LLC to limit Lisa’s potential for liability as a new business owner. I drafted the stack of necessary paperwork for the sale, provided everything to both sides for review, facilitated discussions, and made requested edits.

When all questions were answered and everyone was satisfied, Lisa signed the final paperwork, making her CEO of the business she already loved so much.
